Really magic

Publicado por admin en 25 Feb 2008 | Etiquetado como: Customer Views

I hang a review about Magic Cristal Park from Miss S. Clipson that is placed on holiday watchdog:This was my second stay at this hotel.I was so impressed with the service the first time I went with my friend in Nov 2006, that I took my parents for a 3 day break this time - they loved it too and we’re planning on going back in Nov this year again.Having read some of these reviews on this site I have to say I’m gobsmacked! On both occasions I found all the staff to be really friendly and helpful. The rooms to be excellent for storage & cleanliness. Admittedly, the beds aren’t that comfortable but if you’re after luxury pick a hotel with a higher rating. The rooms and bathrooms are all cleaned daily; the tea and coffee are refilled daily if you ask someone - failing that you can always help yourself in the restaurant. The food was buffet style, hot and cold at every meal. A wide range to choose from, there was nothing I didn’t enjoy. The location is excellent - close to a wide choice of shops and less than ten minutes from both beachesI never found any of the Spanish to be rude at all, most would smile and say hello, is it their fault we don’t speak their language, observe their customs or god forbid, make an effort to try!All in all, I had a really pleasant time, I would recommend this hotel.

Magic cristal park: ´loved our short break´

Publicado por admin en 25 Feb 2008 | Etiquetado como: Customer Views

I hang a review about the Magic Cristal Park that is written by Mrs. Spark from Scottish on Tripadvisor:My husband and I, 50+, wanted a 5 night stay and booked through globespan. There were various choices but we opted for the all inclusive, less hastle to choose resturants or pubs as it was only a short break.
The hotel was up a busy one way road which lead right down to the beach, and slap bang in between the old and new Benidorm which suited us right down to a T.
The room we were allocated was to the rear on the 6th floor practically next to the stairs that lead to the roof terrace with the covered unheated swimming pool and the bar, nice but might be fairly busy in the summer months.
Unfortunately our room did not have a balcony, room no 649, but since the weather was wet we did not push for another room but if we had asked at the reception when we arrived they would tried their best to give us one, or change us when one became available.
The hotel is a bit dated but the location is good. On entering the hotel the doorman gave us a big smile, good start, straight ahead to the reception, one person in front of us, quickly attended to, another big smile from the receptionist, good english spoken, so far so good. Then up in the lift, a few minutes to arrive but a good size, along a winding corridor to our room, kettle, cups, coffee, tea bags in the room, take up water from the bar next to reception, we took coffee mate with us.
The room wasn’t big but not cramped either, clean with 2 single beds, bathroom with a power shower with constant boiling water,(watch out if you have wee ones) and a television that had bbc 1 and itv2 and a news channel.
When we went to the dining room we were pleased with the choices, loads of hot and cold food, we were never dissapointed, and plenty of tables to sit at, the waiters quickly cleared away any used plates, so no clutter. The entertainment was laid on throughout the day, darts, shuffleboard, pool competitions, certificates given out at night in the large bar where we were entertained by the resident act Joe Marsh, 9-12, who had us in stitches some times with his antics.
There was always a speciality act on too which was really good, we never went out of the hotel to be entertained, but we could have done after 12.
The barmen were quick to serve large measures, and beer came in real glass pint tumblers. So in winding up we will definitely go back to this hotel and were sorry that we hadn’t been there longer.

Excellant value hotel

I hang a review about the Magic Cristal park that is placed by Mrs. Iris from Belfast on Tripadvisor:As a mature group of 24 people we had excellant value for money..Rooms are cleaned daily and vary in sizes some with balconies some without but all good sizes..matressess are real comfy..food was variable and very edible consideraing 24 of us all have different tastes we all thoroughly enjoyed the food…I have to say that the bar staff always smiled and were very polite..show anybody respect and you get it back….reception were very helpful and polite also..upon arrival whilst waiting to get checked in we were offered drinks by a lovely young waiter which i thought was a nice touch as i have never encountered that before…plenty of room in the restaurants and bars and plenty of room to sit out front sipping a drink and watch the world go by..Hotel entertainment consists of usual flamanco, parrot, magic shows etc and quizzes each night which were fun and dancing afterwards! The hotel is very central and only 5 min walk to beach amidst all the numerous shops and restaurants..The outdoor and indoor markets are in the New town about a 15/20 min walk which is great for exploring on the way…Reception also gave us a street map on arrival..taxis are cheap about 4 euros to market/new town..For kids the hotel has an excellant play area on the roof along with a large covered rooftop pool.. and plenty of sun loungers and yes at end of november we were sunbathing on the roof getting lovely drinks from poolbar and a tan…Take advantage of the FREE day trips which the hotel will be happy to inform you about..This hotel is not a noisy hotel like some all inclusives that i have gone to…All in all an excellant value hotel above expectations!

Fantastic Magic Cristal Park

Opinion from Hotel Magic Cristal Park  A satisfied cliented posted to tripadvisorjust arrived back from a week all inclusive at the magic cristal park. As a registered nurse I do not justify to lie to you. The room was clean but basic, the maids cleaned our room every day, bedding was changed twice a week (more than I can say for some English hotels), and clean towels every day.The food was excelent with a proper English breakfast every morning if you wanted it. A very good choice off selection for breakfast, lunch and evening meal, cooked and presented to a high level.
we also had no problems with the staff, the were helpful and always had a smile.
I realy believe people are going to this hotel and wanting 5* accomadation, (you pay for what you get). I would reccomend this hotel to a friend. The only down side for myself and my wife that thier was no outside pool. one more thing location is brill.

Comments about Magic Cristal ParkA review from a member of tripadvisor I was absolutely dreading coming to this hotel after reading some of the reviews but there was no need to worry. We had rooms with balconies which were lovely and cleaned every day. The food could not be faulted there was always lots of choice and it was always hot. The entertainment was a bit ropey but i’ve never stayed all-inclusive when it hasn’t been, and there were other bars to sit in if you didn’t like it. We also liked the fact that we could go to the other hotels in the group if you went for a walk during the day or night. Overall we had a great holiday and would definately go again. I think a lot of the people who have given negative reviews are expecting a five star hotel for a three star price, but I do urge people not to be put off by the bad reviews.

Just returned from a week at Cristal Park - had brilliant time. After reading negative reviews was a little apprehensive on arrival. Hotel is dated but has ambience - not just a concrete block. Rooms are tired and could do with updating but very spacious and clean - bed linen and towels spotless. Very good value for all-inclusive - food fabulous! Staff friendly and helpful. Location excellent - just on edge of old/new town, good for either. We were lucky enough to have great weather so sunbathed on rooftop terrace often where there were plenty of beds available and a bar for those all-important drinks! Already looking to book for next year!

opinión de un cliente del Magic Cristal Park a través Tripadvisor

I stayed here November 2006 in a party of 20. Ages ranging between 13 months and 68 years. We actually went for my niece’s 21st birthday

I’ll start at the beginning………………..

On arrival of the hotel, we promptly booked in at reception and had no problems at all bearing in mind how many of us there were.

The Rooms are, I suppose, a bit small but they were definitely kept clean on a daily basis. I would have been happier with a bigger room as I was staying with my partner, our 3 year old daughter and 13 month old daughter, so it would have been nice to have a bigger room, but we definitely managed. One couple in our party certainly pulled the long straw, they ended up staying in one of suites (this is a two bedroomed room with it’s own lounge), so they were certainly happy.

The food - Well this certainly couldn’t be faulted. Believe me, I’m a fussy eater (and so are a number of people in our party) but none of us were disappointed with the food at all. You have got to have the Sunday Roast (not quite as good as Mother’s cooking, but certainly one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel in Spain).

The pool was very disappointing. I wouldn’t have been very happy had I gone in the summer months. But there again, the beach is only 5 minutes walk away so we would have gone down the beach. But at the time we went the pool wasn’t heated so we couldn’t use it. we dind’t really have the best of weather either. We were staying during the only couple of days rain that Benidorm had during November. Typical I know, but there you go. The weather certainly didn’t stop us having some fun.

We had some excellent fun downstairs in the evening. The entertainment is typical spanish hotel entertainment. IE, Michael Jackson, Flamenco Dancers, Parrot Show, Karaoke etc.

I must agree with one of the other people who have left a review. The lady behind the bar with the blonde is very very rude. Mind you, I did manage to get one smile out of her during the holiday (but to be honest I think one of the barmen pinched her bum, so maybe the smile wasn’t quite for me after all).

We enjoyed this holiday so much that we are going back again next week (January 17th). 20 of us are going again and each and every one of us are looking forward to it. In fact, 3 members of our party who are returning next week wasn’t even supposed to be coming back with us, but they enjoyed themselves so much in November that they are now coming back again - so i think that tells you something doesn’t it.

Watch this space - i will keep you all updated when i return from my next visit and let you know how it goes.

I highly recommend this hotel. Don’t get me wrong, its far from being like the Ritz but it’s definitely on a par with lots of other hotels I’ve stayed in in Spain. In fact, it’s a lot better than a lot of hotels I’ve stayed in in Spain. It’s in an excellent location (although you won’t think this when your coach/taxi drops you off) but all you need to do is come out of the hotel, turn left and follow the path downwards and wheyhey you’ve got shops galore. Go a lttle further and you’ve got the best part of the beach in Bendiorm.

went to benidorm 4 times last year and this one was the best!!(except fiesta week, that was great. just beware of the fireworks going off all day and night!! not good for people with aweak heart as always jumping out of your skin!!!)stayed here a couple of times before but this was the best one yet!! we had requested a room with a balcony only to find on arrival we didnt have a room at all!!(last thing you need after arriving and wanting to dump your stuff off and go out!!) on the better side we got offered the presidential suite which was great!! it had two rooms, a jacuzzi, a huge balcony over looked benidorm. we were told by staff that if we didnt like it they would move us to a different room. all this for no extra cost! on the down side full of ignorant spanish people who liked to que jump- one man put the spanish in their place and they had to re-join the que from the back!! maid service was good, very clean floors mopped everyday, bedding changed daily and clean towels veryday. the food was good and the all inclusive came handy when it came to the drink!!! lifts were slow and was quicker to walk. good for all ages although the other side of town is more for the younger people with lively bars and clubs!!
had a brilliant time, cant wait to go back!!
